Michael McCullen, Chairman of the Management Team

Michael McCullen is Chief Executive of Eleco Software, the software division of Eleco plc of which Asta is a part. Michael was one of the founders of Asta Development and was Managing Director from 2000 to 2009. He successfully led the company through a period of profitable growth and its acquisition by Eleco plc in 2006, joining the main Board of Eleco plc in 2007. He holds a Computer Science degree (Manchester) and an MBA (Warwick).

Paul Bamforth, Managing Director

Paul Bamforth is the Managing Director of Asta Development. He brings to Asta extensive international and domestic experience in sales in the software and IT services marketplaces. Paul holds a Masters in Engineering from the University of Bath.

Andrew Willard, International Business Director

Andrew Willard is the International Business Director at Asta Development with responsibility for all distribution and reseller relationships outside the UK. He has been responsible for the successful delivery of high profile project management implementations in a wide range of sectors. His focus is on selecting, supporting and enabling distributors and resellers.

Peter Thompson, Finance Director

Peter Thompson is the Finance Director at Asta Development. He is responsible for the company’s financial strategy and for all financial and administrative affairs. Peter is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Chris Rymer, Head of Professional Services

Chris is responsible for the service delivery to Asta’s customers, encompassing implementation, training and customer support. He has worked at Asta for over 13 years and has been responsible for implementing Asta’s software in a variety of industries including IT, construction and professional services.
