Asta Powerproject version 11 is a major release with brand new features that will appeal to newcomers to the software, as well as advanced users. It includes new automated, graphical reports showing different aspects of project status; an alternative way of structuring projects using a Work Breakdown Structure which will look familiar to anyone who has used Oracle Primavera; and a host of improvements to the user interface which makes Asta Powerproject even easier to use.

Users can create their own formulae in spreadsheet columns alongside project tasks - e.g. you could use this to calculate and display the time between the end of a task and the end of the project.
NEW Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) - similar to Oracle Primavera. (This is in addition to the Project Breakdown Structure that has always been built into Asta Powerproject).
House builders / procurement can now overlap tasks on the same bar line
Quickly find tasks in sorted groups with new left-hand coloured banding - another features that will be familiar to users of Oracle Primavera.
Easier, graphical reporting and diagnostics - an automated export to Excel which produces a range of colourful, graphical management reports about different aspects of project status
Advanced scheduling features - e.g. new feature to maintain the offsets between tasks.
