Northgate won the
government tender for delivery of a national management
information system for the Home Office, and English and
Welsh police forces. Northgate needed to tighten control
over resources and costs in order to ensure successful
delivery of the project.
The Solution
Northgate implemented Asta Teamplan
in its project support office and for project and resource
managers working on this project. Field-based IT teams
and consultants submit timesheets each week using Asta
Timesheet. Once timesheets are approved, progress is automatically
updated in the main project plan.
