PMSOFT JSC, Asta’s reseller in Russia and CIS countries, was founded in 1993 as an initiative of a team of experts in the field of managing social and economic systems who had previously worked in the research institutes of USSR Academy of Sciences and defence-oriented industry. Starting its operations from single sales of project management software (Primavera) , the company achieved substantial success in the area of providing a full set of project, program, and portfolio management–related services on the markets of Russia, CIS, and the Baltic states.
At present the team of PMSOFT Group of companies consists of over 100 people. The head office is located in Moscow and the company also has representative offices in the North-Western region, in Ukraine and Kazakhstan. PMSOFT sees its strength in cooperation and integration both with leading vendors of specialised software and International project management professional organisations (PMI, IPMA, AACE International, Sovnet, RusRisk etc.)

The Project Management University is also a member of PMSOFT Group. It is the first educational institution providing general education in the field of project management. PMSOFT has been proud to represent Asta Powerproject software in the Russian and CIS market since March, 2012. Since then great efforts were put into studying the software, preparing Russian-language materials and increasing the awareness of the software during numerous internal (the largest one – XI International Project Management Conference which took place in the end of May 2012 and attracted about 200 participants) and external events. By the end of 2012 Asta Powerproject and Asta Powerproject Risk Analysis have been translated into Russian in order to adopt international solution to the needs of the Russian market. Nowadays a complex implementation of Asta Powerproject for managing maintenance projects in O&G is being performed. This year PMSOFT will celebrate its twentieth anniversary and are happy to face this remarkable date as part of Asta and the FND partner network.
