Asta Powerproject Enterprise - construction management software
At the core of the Asta Powerproject Enterprise solution is a central database which runs Asta Powerproject and holds all the project information. This central database allows several planners to work on the same project at the same time. It provides much greater visibility of a project or programme than would be possible using a standalone or network version of Asta Powerproject.
Two additional modules can be added to the Asta Powerproject Enterprise solution:
Asta Site Progress
Provides site managers and planners with a quick and easy way to report progress back to head office using a personal digital assistant (PDA) or via a web browser
Asta Client Reporter
Provides straightforward graphical and tabular reporting on actual progress compared to the contract programme, as well as reports on other key performance indictators.
Customer case studies
AMEC
An AMEC led joint venture is using Asta Powerproject Enterprise to plan and manage the UK's largest schools PFI project in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. Asta produced customised reports for AMEC to enable them to produce S-curve graphs at the click of a button. These reports show the client the actual status of any of the 19 schools against the contract programme as well as a consolidated view of project status across the entire build programme.
BARLOWS
Retail project management specialist, Barlows, are using Asta Powerproject Enterprise to gain a 'global view' over all their store refit jobs. With demanding clients like McDonalds, Shell and Marks and Spencer they have to work to extremely tight deadlines. They use Asta Powerproject Enterprise to allocate manpower effectively and to understand the time and cost implications of changes to lead times.
