What's
involved
The Implementation Planning Workshop is a one-day consultancy service undertaken
by a senior Asta consultant. Its purpose is to:
- confirm the
use of Asta Teamplan
within the organisation
as described in
the Basic Process
Design report;
- specify any customisation
and/or integration;
- provide a detailed
outline of the
project including
implementation
timescales.
The consultancy day follows
the same format as the Basic
Process Design. Half a day is
spent interviewing key staff;
the second half is spent preparing
a detailed report.
The Implementation
Planning Workshop builds on the
Basic Process Design report,
providing customers with a detailed
description of how their projects,
resources and costs will be set
up within Asta Teamplan.
Interviews with key staff are
therefore far more detailed and
investigate all aspects of the
template project.
The
deliverables
Within one week of the interviews, the consultant will deliver a report covering:
- User access
rights, description
of user roles and
processes.
- Process for the migration
of legacy data (if
applicable).
- Details of any
customisation and/or systems
integration required.
- Details and content
of training, including
format of any bespoke

- Detailed specification
of hardware infrastructure
required.
- Schedule for
implementation,
including names
of customer’s
staff who will
need to be available
and when.
- Any actions required
from customer (ie
sign off outline
template project).
- Screenshots showing
suggested structure
of project templates.
