The
objective
Basic Process Design is a one-day consultancy service.
The purpose
of the Basic Process Design is
to identify the business and
technology issues that need to
be addressed as part of the implementation
of Asta Teamplan.
What's
involved
A senior Asta consultant will spend half a day at the client’s premises
interviewing key project staff in order to gather information on:
- the planning
process,
- organisational
structure,
- integration
and reporting requirements.
The
deliverables
A report is then prepared detailing the procedures and systems needed to successfully
implement Asta Teamplan. It covers:
- The main business
objectives and
reasons for the
implementation
of Asta Teamplan.
- Issues with current
planning tool (if
applicable).
- Review of existing
processes and project
management methodology.
- Recommendations.
- Organisational
structure, work
breakdown structure,
costing and coding
structures.
- Any customisation
required and/or
integration with
other business
systems.
- System requirements.
- Reports.
- Implementation
steps, including
training.
The report forms a ‘step-by-step’ strategy
for successful project and resource
management within the organisation
and ensures that any potential
issues are identified and planned
for as early as possible in the
process.
