Asta Powerproject Enterprise technical information
There is no set system requirement for Asta Powerproject Enterprise as it depends on the number or users and the database size. For example, an implementation with 10 users and a large database will require a higher hardware specification to an implementation with 2 users and a small database.
At the start of each implementation there is a 1-day Basic Process Design meeting where we meet with the customer to discuss how they want to use the system. On the basis of this session, we recommend the necessary hardware.
Please note that Asta Powerproject does not run on Windows 64-bit operating systems.
Asta Powerproject Enterprise implementation process
There are four main stages in the implementation process:
Stage 1 - Basic Process Design (BPD)
We meet with the customer to discuss how they want to use the system. Based on the discussions we deliver a report detailing both how the software should be configured to meet their needs and also the associated hardware requirements.
Stage 2 - Configuration
Once the customer has confirmed they are happy with the Basic Process Design report, we configure Asta Powerproject Enterprise accordingly. This includes creating the required templates, calendars, work patterns, views, tables and reports.
Stage 3 - Installation
We install the configured Asta Powerproject Enterprise software on the customer's server.
Stage 4 - Training
Users attend a training course to learn how to use the Asta Powerproject software. We tailor the training course to meet the customer's specific requirements and processes.
