Update project progress on site via a PDA or web browser
Asta Site Progress uses PDA and web technology to enable quick and accurate progress reporting from construction sites.
Site managers simply "tick off" progress against a task list, either via a PDA as they walk around the site or via a web page. The progress is then automatically updated into the main project plan in Asta Powerproject.
Asta Site Progress reduces the time it takes to update plans. It also avoids the errors associated with ‘faxing back’ progress updates and then entering the information manually.
Inputting progress with Asta Site Progress:
“With Asta Siteprogress, our site managers/planners now use a PDA to record progress against tasks as they walk around the site. This information can then be automatically uploaded in Asta Powerproject via the Internet or at local network level.
The biggest benefit for us is saved time. It used to take us at least one hour to update progress from each site – the link between the PDA and Asta Powerproject takes just a few minutes.”
