Asta Powerproject System Requirements

Important Information

Note that Asta Powerproject only runs on Microsoft Windows operating systems.

Microsoft Windows 64-bit

Asta Powerproject is approved for use with 64-bit operating systems and is compatible with Asta Powerdraw (supplied free of charge with Asta Powerproject).

Microsoft Office 2010

Asta Powerproject v 11.0.03 will work with Microsoft Office 2010.

Microsoft Windows 2008 R2 Server

Asta Powerproject Version 11.03 is approved for use with Microsoft Windows 2008 R2 Server.

Virtual Environments

Asta Powerproject Version 11 is supported on VMWare ESX, VMWare ESXi and when using VMWare Workstation. Other virtual environments are not currently supported. Please contact our Technical Support team for information on licensing in a VMWare environment.

Oracle

Asta Powerproject is compatible with Oracle Version 8, Version 9, Version 10g and Version 11.2.

Microsoft SQL Server

Asta Powerproject is compatible with Microsoft SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008 R2.

Tablet PCs

Asta Powerproject is currently not approved for use on the Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC operating system.

Asta Powerproject Multi-User System requirements

There is no set system requirement for Asta Powerproject multi-user as it depends on the number or users and the database size. For example, an implementation with 10 users and a large database will require a higher hardware specification to an implementation with 2 users and a small database.

Version 11.0.03 Enterprise server is approved for use as service on Windows 2003 server, Windows 2008 server and Windows 2008 R2 server.

Version 11.0.03 Enterprise is now supported alongside SQL server 2008 R2 and Oracle 11.2. Users of Oracle on x64 operating systems, will need to install the x86 Oracle client alongside the Enterprise server as it utilises x86 oracle drivers.

At the start of each implementation there is a 1-day Basic Process Design meeting where we meet with the customer to discuss how they want to use the system. On the basis of this session, we recommend the necessary hardware.

Asta Easyplan System Requirements

The minimum technical specification for running Asta Easyplan v.5 is shown below.

Notes about Asta Easyplan Version 5
Please note that Asta Easyplan is a standalone software system. Network licences are not available.

Version 5 is compatible with Asta Powerproject v.11 database.

Installation
Version 5 can be installed over the top of Version 4 without the need to remove it first.

Version 3 and Version 2 are required to be removed prior to installing Asta Easyplan Version 5. A new serial number and CD key will be provided.

Operating systems
Version 5.0.05 is approved for use on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. All x64 versions of these operating systems are also supported.

Version 5.0.05 has not been approved for use and is therefore not supported Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows Tablet PC Edition.

TILOS is a windows application that is installed on each PC. It is available both as a standalone and a network version. For network versions, the licence is installed on a server to enable concurrent licensing.

Requirements to run TILOS:
